Reflection

In this class, I learned making presentation and power point. When I did presentation first time, I was very nervous because I had never done such presentation. But I gradually got accustomed to speak in front of people and I could enjoy making presentation.

I think the topic "Welcoming Exchange Students" was interesting because there were a lot of informations such as Japanese foods, cultures, seasons and customs. I thought that though I am Japanese, I don't know about Japan so much. I want to know more about native country in order to introduce Japan to people who come from other country.

I think this class was good opportunity to make my opinion and I could get little confidence in speaking. Thank you!

Making Friends: Freshman Camp

I’m going to talk about making friends.
Freshman camp is a good opportunity to make friends. We come from different places and most students are worried about new school days. In freshman camp, we eat lunch and play some games together. We can cooperate to win the game and spend good time. At first, many students are nervous, but after the 2 days, we will be closer than before.
I think having good friends at university is very important because we will have some difficulties and then we can support each other. We can make friends in class and club and so on.

Bus Etiquettes

I’m going to talk about bus etiquettes.
・First, you should offer the seat to old people and pregnant women.
・Second, you should not talk by cellular phone or talk in loud voice.
・Third, you should be careful about volume of your music player.
・Fourth, you should not eat or drink something.
・Fifth, you should not put your bags on other seat.
・Last, if you thank when you get off, the driver and you will feel good each other.
Bus etiquettes are mostly common to other public transports, for example train and subway. Some Japanese are very sensitive to etiquettes, so please care about above points. If everyone keeps etiquettes, we can have good travel !

Bestival

Bestival is not just a music festival. It also has a mustache contest and fancy dress contest and so on. I’ll talk about dress in this festival.
Every year, this festival has fancy dress themes, and this 2009’s dress theme is “A Space Oddity”! Oddity means strange person.
Bestivaloids who join this festival wear interesting costumes. For example, astronaut, alien, starman, and what I can’t understand. I think their mood makes the festival more exciting and colorfully.
They look very happy, so I want to join this festival♪

Acropolis

I will talk about Acropolis's history.
In Greek, Acropolis means "the highest point of the city". There are many histories in Acropolis. Originally Acropolis played a part in a place of refuge. But the Persian war began in fifth century BC, Persians attacked the Acropolis and it was destroyed.
After that, the Parthenon and other main buildings on Acropolis were built by Pericles. This Pericles era was called Golden Age. It was a monument to the

cultural and political achievements of the inhabitants of Athens. It has 46 pillars. Thus the structures were made that we see today.
Besides Parthenon, there are many beautiful structures for example, the Erechtheion which is temple and so on.

Nagashima Spaland

I'm going to introduce atractions. There are many atractions in Nagashima Spaland. The number is 45. So, I'll introduce two famous atractions.

First, this is White Cyclone. This is a wooden roller coaster of the world's largest class. Because it is made of wood, the swing is intense. At night, this coaster is lit up and it is very beautiful.

Second is Steel Drogon 2000. When the coaster appears, it has a world record for height at about 100m and length about 2500m. The top speed is about 150 kilometers an hour. In 2003, it had an accident. They repeated checks and it reopened in 2006.

Besides them, there are many exciting atractions. For example, huge ferris wheel "Aurora" and Bob kart and so on. So if you don't like scream machines, you can enjoy!

♪・・I like Ghibli and I especially like this movie. I watchied it again and again, but each time I feel relief. This movie has bond of family and importance of believing. And Totoro is so cute and kind!　I want to meet Totoro.
